YOU ARE DUE FOR A SONG BREAK
_I will sing unto the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me._ – Ps 13:6
All through this week we’ve been meditating on the concept of seeing your life as a Musical. Interestingly, one of the characteristics of movies that are Musicals is the ‘Song Break’. Though the songs in a musical film are usually to advance the plot or develop the film’s characters; in some cases they serve merely as _breaks_ in the storyline, often as elaborate “production numbers” (music that’s sung and danced by the featured actors with the backing of several professional singers and dancers who perform as a unit).
Song breaks are normal in a musical, and they should be normal in your life too. So if you’ve not had much singing in your life of late you need to gear up; because you’re due for a ‘Song Break’. Yes, you’re due for some dancing, singing and testifying. That’s right, Beloved, get ready because some SINGING is coming your way. I’m not talking about some subdued whistling in your head but some real intricate “Production Numbers” that everyone around you will hear and notice. You’ll have a cause to sing, you’ll have a reason to laugh, you’ll have a reason to testify; in Jesus’ blessed name.
If you’re familiar with the Musical genre of movies, you’ll notice that half of the time the music has no legitimate justification. The scene doesn’t have to be a party, an audition or a performance; a song can _break_ in at any time for no reason whatsoever.
So I’m not asking you to look around for the justification for your SONG; I’m not asking to check if you to look around your environment to see if it looks favourable for joy and merriment; I’m only telling you what God can and will do in your life.
So get ready for some singing: _“Make your tent larger, stretch your tent curtains way out! Spare no effort, lengthen your ropes, and pound your stakes deep. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your children will conquer nations and will resettle desolate cities. Don’t be afraid, for you will not be put to shame!”_ (Is 54:2,3 NET)
Smile! Laugh!! SING!!!
More Blessings await you today; you’ll not miss them in Jesus’ Name
