PANEGYRICAL ODE 'OGUN O !'
'OGUN O !'
(Dedicated to AJAKAYE SHERIFF AYINDE)
Ogun O !
Such is life, you have become a man.
Do you remember three jolly friends?
I fear you do, your eyes are shinning...
Your black is radiant than the sun,
Ijagemo misses Chilling Amuludun,
the man whose stance is a room for sadness.
Forget not the expectant home
but you will build more than Ile Meji.
Look at Olanrewaju's eyes over and over,
when the sun fell upon the roof,
"ta ta ta, Ile Ajakaye oo",
she bows to God,
that you may shine than titles, chieftaincy, local prominence,
Kings will feed in your home.
Can I hear a louder "Amen?"
AJAKAYE RASHIDAT OLAMIDAYO
STRIDA_(Striking Ideas).
The bard misses her blood brother and reminds him of their beginning, telling him how she wants the best for him as he is far for success.
