HAD I KNOWN_ PART FIVE

I left Ilorin with shattered mood as the sky gathered smoke of sadness, drenched on me,that was when the light threw the shadow of fate on my heart. Sadness married me for a week. Unfortunately I couldn't resume work on time. I took two days leave from work but condition dictated more than that. 

I cheered up after series of self-counselling, and I made it to office the following week. As it occurred, I had to explained to my boss about the phase which fate had shown me. He carressed, advised me to cuddle myself and be strong. Aishat who had really been faithful to me also came around to dig out fact about my long stay at home. Of course,she was really worried about my sudden absence from the office. When she began to enquire,I stood from the chair, sent my lips on her forehead but quickly withdrawn. Amazingly she felt because I had never for once tried such stuff since she had been lobbying to penetrate in. She thought her love had really reflected in my heart but that was only done to let her upper lip married lower lip as I wasn't ready to explode the bomb of sadness in me.

Some munites after she left, she resumed back to my office with load of meals inside the warmer for the breakfast. I couldn't spare her so I asked her to dine with me as to keep the air of euphoria passing through my heart. She with her actions and appearance taught me to put a figure of smile on my face every time,for happiness hardly reflects on such face. When night was about to fall,I had wished to remain close to her. I wanted to ask her if she could follow me to my place but it wasn't coming out till she went home.

Weekend was boring so I decided to move to her place for multiple happiness. By then, I had grown up strong feelings for her. My heart had been chasing her like madman. I met her in the kitchen preparing dish to fill the moment with a lot of fun. I walked up to her, started doing things together. My actions were confusing and wondering her that a heart like a stone could be so soft like this. I was reading flash of smile on her face throughout the cooking.

At the dinning table, I gathered millions of courage to present her the proposal of my love. I didn't even bother to confirm if she had attached her heart to another guy after she was denied by me while longing to be mine. But when finally I talked,we both stopped eating, gazing at each other,she was silent,burst into tears and no word from her.
