HAD I KNOWN_ PART FOUR

After I had gulped the information folded in the letter she sent, I felt relieved and embraced the shine of the hours of glee. At this juncture, I was confused. Tinuke was back, and Aishat was making every move to get herself an approval symbol from my heart. This got me down seriously.

I had prepared a letter to be submitted on Monday for two days leave, in order to fulfill the dream of meeting Tinuke after years of separation. Aishat came around on Monday morning as usual of her to pick me up. While moving to the office, she finally publicized the burning emotion in her to me. She opened how long she had been struggling to win me over but I seemed adamant. It was my first time, experiencing that woman can make proposal of love to man if she can no longer hold it. I felt bemused and perplexed more as I didn't have the clue to reject or accept her proposition. I refrained my mouth from talking because nothingness filled the space in my mouth. By the time, she came forth to free her request from the bondage, I had stopped fooling myself not to fall in love with her. Her love had secured a very small apartment in my heart. She had never for once stopped serving my plate with breakfast. That morning, after the profession, she found it necessary to place the load of meal on the table in my office. She played with me a lot. I mean she did put millions of grin on my cheeks, whenever the sky came out blur. She expected me to return the love but I kept her waiting. She was even the one who gave me a ride home after the hectic hours we had in the office. Inconsiderately,I chose to hide my plan of taking two days leave for a purpose away from her knowledge.

Fortunately,I arrived safely to Ilorin. I got the address very right and I made a call to her to come and pick me up on time. I made it to where she lived. On that very day,I found the paradise on earth, after many years of departure. My mood easily became happy yet I met the ocean of glee I longed to drink from. She was absolutely happy too,in fact her face depicted a bundle of rapture. She covered my lips with hers and descended the juice of painless pleasure on my lips. We had taken unmeasurable relish from seeing each other again before her Dad came in. I came down from the furnished chair, leaned on the floor to express my greetings. He patted me on head and raised me up to sit back. She couldn't wait for her father to enquire before she made official introduction of me to him. He cleared his throat and offered some words, but he didn't hesitate to dangle the flag of rejection. He asserted that her daughter wasn't going to pick her choice of man from my place(Kishi). He added to his assertion that he hated guys from there.
I stood up, looked into Tinuke's eyes deeply, she had started dropping tears while I couldn't dry my eyes too.

Did I later gain Tinuke?
What was my fate with Aishat?
