WALKING TOGETHER ON SEPARATE PARTS BY AJAKAYE RASHIDAT OLAMIDAYO.
Humans are like branches and leaves that fight to touch the blue sky which they can't touch even with the tip of their parts. The yellow leaf leaf fights to have the green in tow. The yellow doesn't throw the towel. The green wants no one to cut it off from its branch, it wants to shine green everyday like it's germination has just begun. They will all fall to the ground, all of them step by step .Swept into the same place . After death is longer than before death. Death for all comes when the farmer comes to use his land for something else, he cuts the tree off the soil.
Humans are the leaves and branches we fight to enjoy all, we struggle to achieve all, do it all which is the sky, we can't. He who did it all should pray for doom. The yellow leaf are the old that fail to let the young have their prosperity comfortably. The green are the rich and young who throw a spanner in the works of the ones still striving for the better days. We are human, we will all meet in the grave when nature calls and the farmer will kill us all on rapture. Our farmer watches us closely, he knows our every step even the one we take in secret. Legacy is longer than achievement, much longer than enjoyment. We are all heading to death which inevitable. We will all meet at the grave.
