JEREMIAD 'AND WE BECAME MONSTERS' BY JAHISMINE.
This height of wickedness has overshadowed,
our depth of kindness completely,
so we've had our hearts removed,
thrown into hell - did I say thrown into hell?
No! We've had our hearts removed, and we metamorphosed
into Hell you don't want to cross paths with.
and we became monsters - heartless demons_
This blood isn't ours, I mean the black one you see now;
Our red blood that symbolizes Love
has been replaced during a painful surgery of survival,
a cooked meal of anguish and grieve,
the ones we eat during breakfasts that come as Lunch,
lunches that come as Dinners and Dinners that don't exist,
and we became monsters - fraternal survivors.
We're now Brotherhoods - brothers in the hood;
We're now Ghettosisters, sisters in the ghetto;
Living the second class citizens with either 2.1 or 2.2 Certificate of Life;
and as we look forward to graduate out of life with a First Class,
don't let us forget that this Maths
that made us Monsters is an equation we mustn't let our children know.
