THE FORGOTTEN BROTHER_

Chased to the mud, lone and lonely.

Tossed and baked sardonically

With words preserved for the guilty.

Deserted and mocked for its gentility,

Inflatus afflatus and imperative prosperity,

A word which breeds and foster humanity.

Like change changed Nigeria,

Your aberrant unprecedented attitude became malaria

To the myopia.

We gently and haltingly vomit your material

Till it lost its efficacy and criteria.

We buried you in tin air, truncated career.

Alone to disintegrate and wither away,

Alone guiding the sages the right way

To bless souls and save the strayed.

Pointing clear a swing sway

To caress the heart of man all the way.

Lo and behold! its impact is felt today.

Unquenchable muse and inspiration

To the lost children of education.

An apotheosis of emulation,

Juicy incantation

To the obedient peons in question

Who tapped from your keg of wisdom.

Today you are proclaim lord among your brothers

You bought the house with limerick orders.

Ode, euphoria and lullaby did canvas

And filled the mouth of olden haters.

Long live poetry, reign beyond universe.

Make me more bleed till the whole world surrenders.
