ODE_ 'HOW CAN I NOT CRY?' BY ABISOLA.
(Sequel after Paciolo Pen Saint)
Tick tock fades with breathe of life,
tongue_curled into bitterness,
shambles of joy,
death hovers...
Promises woefully carried out,
success_embedded in lake of failure,
wounded in the wound of the past,
regrets adorned the tongue.
Immature leaves fall off
while the old shaketh not,
sniffing life off the promising seedlings
with its root deeply rooted in crime.
How can I not cry?
When I pray not for survival
but to hasten the agent of the unknown,
to dry off my tears in the world beyond
and to be a better tomorrow for my successors.
How can I not cry?
When this is last chance to live,
with blood flowing in torrent,
ripping through my pen
loveast words painfully carved out.
ABISOLA ✍️.
