'HOW TRUE IS ETERNAL LOVE?' BY AJAKAYE RASHIDAT STRIDA.

I know the word Love isn't something that should appear strange or unknown to us. It is what we hear, feel and experience from birth till grave weather we call it or not. Love chooses us, we don't choose it, this is why it is uncontrollable when it occurs.

Is Love sex or an emotion, a bond or affection?

Love encompasses a ranger of strong and positive emotional and mental states, from the most sublime virtue or good habit, the deepest interpersonal affection, to the simplest pleasure.

I will say Love is a faithful and unconditional feelings of affection which drives our emotions to absolutely care, give attention, and rightly please someone, something, on organization or a place. We most times think Love only occurs between humans but this isn't it. How about our pets at home? Don't we show them love, how about plants? 

Psalm 50:10-11 “For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine."

Love has been given a special part in the Holy Bible, it is a natural aspect and it entails the most respected commandment among the ten commandments. According to Matthew 22:36-40;B-) “36 Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 

39 And the second is like it: ‘Love yourself neighbor as yourself.’

40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”.

From the above scripture, on shall realize and clearly see that all other laws rest upon a shield which is Love. 

WHAT IS LOVE ?

As to the latter, think off Paul's great hymn to love: “Love - agape - is patient and kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. ... Love never ends” (1 Cor. 13:4-8a).13 Feb 2012

There are various kinds of love such as;

STORGE Love which is loving someone through fondness or familiarity. It is usually without coercion as it comes in a natural way life between families, or people who live together and relate freely with one another  and therefore become bonded by chance.

PHILIA Love which is the kind that exists between friends who are close as siblings in duration and strengths. They share common interests, values abd activities. Though Lewis sees the friendship like David and Jonathan, Orestes and Pylades as a lost art as there is almost no sort of friendship as these in the present days.

EROS Love which is also called Romantic Love. It's often all about need and it's more about the person who's feeling sexually attractive than it is about the person who is the focus of that love or thing that is the focus of that love. It is addicting. It can cause great joy and great sorrow. It isn't always good for you. More hearts are broken on Valentine's Day due to the unfulfillment of erotic love.

AGAPE Love_ This is the love of mankind by The Almighty God. It is a ceaseless stream of affection whether being returned or not, it continues to be showered upon us. This is the love that connects forgiveness, kindness, purity of acts  and cannot be changed. It is a love that holds enough water and lives unconditionally and forever in life. It is the foundation of others. No matter the type of love between creatures, it is the Agape that calls them back to other so they wouldn't be misled.

God's love is without bounds or breaks, it doesn't fall for any sort of shortcomings. It is priceless and invaluable in all circumstances, He loves all human beings without bridges or gaps or inequality. According to 1 John 3:10 ; “See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God”

God loves us because of who we are not because of who He is. His love isn't greedy or falsely jealous. For even after we seen against Him, He is ever willing to forgive is and call us back to order. He is never adamant to give us a second, this is why we should not take him for granted. Psalm 51: 17; says: “The sacrifices to God are a broken spirit; a heart broken and crushed, O God, you  will not despise.” and also  “You, O Jehovah, are . . . ready to forgive.”—Psalm 86:5. by David.

Regardless of our age, tribe, colour, status, nationality, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, God's towards us lives eternally. In Romans 5:9 ; We have been made right by the blood of of Christ and He will definitely save us from all condemnation. See also; 

Romans 5:8 as an example: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

The love of Christ is humble and isn't arrogant , ever willing to please us, He is a King of mercy to have sent His son to die for our sins...

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

To reciprocate the love of God isn't a play job for we are bound to temptations and consistence. We should always remember God in everything we do. Psalm 11:5 where we read, “The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates” 

In Malachi 3:6; For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.

CONFUSED AND MISGUIDED

Though we see admist tears

but vision seemed impaired and gloomy,

yet surrounded with ill and good intentions,

opined to be tears wipers and grieve eraser, 

for pretence... Genuine love is mostimes uidentified

because of its non vibrancy compared the duo of  counselling,

target, promotion and extension of grieve subtly ... 

What a life of irony?  Come wisdom !

Open the heavy eyes of tears and grieved heart,

to see beyond the veil of deceit,

to behold true love and sincerity from the duo.
