Do you check the meaning of what you read in the Qur'an?

I don't want to assume that you don't read a page per day .

Do you check for the _Tafsir_ too?

You know,things like why the verse was revealed,where it was revealed and different scholars stand on it.

The most beautiful _Tafsir_ I've read for now(I've not read much,I only try) is that of _Surah Noor_  verse 11 -21

It was about the prophet's wife, _'Aisha_(Peace and blessings of Allah be upon her) slandering issue.

The way _Allah_ sent down verses just to prove her innocence was so beautiful...

When you read _tafsir_ of a verse,you have the in-depth understanding of that particular verse.

It makes you want to know more,that you don't know when you'll finish the _Surah_.

May Allah make our hearts yearn for the Qur'an.

I recommend Ibn Kathir Tafsir.
