DIDACTIC: "BURDEN OF PURCHASED BEAUTY" BY RADICAL
shot into my nostrils;
cordoned by spikes of peeping hairs,
strong perfume trouser coughed into her armpits.
Body lotions'
fragrance
assailed the sense of smelling,
forcefully
coercing eyes to ferret
source of the untamed smell.
Encroaching territories
of the unknown.
Eyes almost jumped from the head
upon arresting
awkwardly painted visage,
with strong nausea colors
layers of foundation carelessly
like dust brutaly
but futilely
Modern beauty!
irony clad perfumes
strangulate
the artificial purchased beauty.
like a tie
snaked around the neck.
Eyes popped,
with outstretched wide arms,
volunteering to prop
behinds,
threatening to fall.
BLESSING S. CHIGUNDA
(RADICAL)
