_Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you_

I was on a _not so short_ break and as Allah will have it,I was unable to say anything before the break.

I'm sorry for that.

I'm back now Alhamdulillah...

JazakumuLlah khayran to everyone that noticed and those that didn't notice. May Allah ease our affairs.

How are you?

"Fine" was the word that comes to mind,right? 

What about _"Alhamdulillah"_?

A friend asked me the same question and of all the things I want to say to her,I chose Alhamdulillah.

My friend said, _"we need to cultivate the act of being thankful for the little things,the not so little things and the greatest ones_. Do you disagree?

Some years back, a friend said something about being thankful and I've been unable to erase it from my mind (I can be very forgetful)

She said," _why  do we have to look at those below us or those that have this and that problem and then we thank Allah for not being that way?_ 

She almost made me think that way too, Alhamdulillah I didn't.

See,we shouldn't be like," _Oh,Allah gave this person the wealth and fame I want and yet I should be thankful? What's there to be thankful for?"_

How about you thank Allah for that health you have and those people in the hospital are begging Allah for?

Why should you only have to thank Allah when HE does something great for you?

You think being healthy is little? Go to the hospital and you'll know how lucky you are.

Allah says in _Surah Ibrahim 14:7_

وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِى لَشَدِيدٌ 

_And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.'"_

Be thankful for the little things too.

May Allah make it easy for us.
