DUET: "WHERE IS OUR AFRICAN CULTURE?" BY PROF. DOSUNMU AND AJAKAYE
In the guise of modernism
Some have lost rationalism
Embracing nudity
Projecting vanity
Churning out oddity
Their bananas are decomposing
Daylight putrefaction
They must go purification
To cleanse the land
And restore the pride.

Hey, come here!
Why are you wearing pants to the bus-stop?
Roaming like a lost pride,
storming the serene streets with evil of immodesty,
You aren't whites,
and whites aren't you!
Laps used to be golden and fresh,
now they aren't what they used to.
Men now wear earrings
beside ladies who pierce three pits per ear,
where is our African culture?
