"GRACE" BY JUDAISKY
Name but vain is the glory they
Glory you. They are the saints
Who are the devil they preach
Against; angelic imps in white.
I be no saint before You or worthy
To shout "worthy is the lamb" but
Grease me with grace to pledge
My allegiance; a servant to serve.
Let me coddle You in my prime
Befit my filthy rag, that I shall
Think not of my father Adam
And seclude myself from Your
Worship. For only Your grace
Can make me grace Your name.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I stand at the bat watching-
Learning the language of my ink
Learning how to handle my pen 🖋
