"IF I WEREN'T THE ONLY SON" BY ANCESTHOR

You have to go they say
How I wish there could be a way
To avoid this hellish world of a place
Embroidery with rudiments enough to make man craze

But then I guess I have no choice
For where I am were two girls and no boy(s)
Cried for I know the responsibility on my shoulder
But they all kept smiling and none was bothered

And every each and everytime I experience my birthday
I understood I've got no option once again than to stay
For I've seen death and didn't die
So I've grew to understand what pain felt like

ANCESTHOR
(The ticking bomb)

The voice of the poem seems to be the only son amongst daughters and begins that death is the only way to avoid challenges. Yet, the persona concludes that he has to be successful at all positive costs, because he has been read as the manly hope of his family.
