Thinking the love would never leave the bow

was such a brave stupidity.

Poetry is a medicine to broken brains,

and so, you have to spill stanzoes.

Secret affairs are terrible,

don't mirror, hide your romantic live

as though you are cooking yam,

if it isn't ready to be shown,

then be ready to be a fool again.

The poet persona seems to have been broken several times in romantic relationships and finds it hard to believe she has been fooled by a recent man again.
