"TIME FLIES" BY CYRA THE POET
the quick it is elapsing
wishing I knew it before
time flying mercilessly
I got no stand on
fading out quick it does
gone to a world of no mercy
flying never to come back
time with no limit elapses
I wish I got hold on a second
for I could save a breath
once more
but now I no authority ever it ,
greatly quick to no catch
hitting the destination before approval
yet I am human no reverse
better a grave to speak than it to command
ticking loud you got the energy
for your withdraws got no stop
as the public hears my cry
fighting hard for eternity
before the time watches
I wish time can spare me a chance
for the earth needs my last alteration
as generations give their ears .
CYRE THE POET
(Dripping pen)
The poet personae tells the ceaseless movement of time and begs that time pardons him some mercy to build legacies that the world would never forget, even after time send him to death.
