I am not amazed at the drunkenness of my dream,

I have drunk promises than reaping returns,

I have sneaked my rights thousand of times,

if not, my ordained purpose would have been weak,

frustratedly weak to tolerate this black and white world,

I am not amazed at the drunkenness of my dream,

I have drunk my own tears,

cunning creatures never coated my cold for free,

I paid like a dying debtor, yes...

my eyes becoming a wolf like fifty years old.

I am not amazed at the drunkenness of my dream,

I have been injuriously drunk at approximately eighteen,

feminine pride being butchered

from the battle of family forces,

such a maddened marital melodrama.

I am not amazed at the drunkenness of my dream,

I have kissed

without possessing a feeble affection for the kissed,

building relationships all over the universe

like a brand new born Jesus Christ.

I am not amazed at the drunkenness of my dream,

Owonikoko and Falilatu Shomade were "focused financial figures",

Baba Agba and Ashake Iya Agba were "gods of attainments in Ijagemo",

Adunni Ajakaye and Ayinla Ajakaye did lay neat carpets,

that I shall walk my buzzing energy upon.

I am not amazed at the drunkenness of my dream,

ready to embrace the seats of "very important people",

been trying while being through a lot,

not only survival is my aim nigga reader,

I wouldn't play niggardly, I will never!

I am not amazed at the drunkenness of my dream,

I have picked fake diamonds on electrified rugs,

let me be!

Sooner than our imaginations,

humanity shall swallow the arrogance of greed.

I am not amazed at the drunkenness of my dream,

I don't believe in the fracture of a chicken's leg, 

you don't believe that this fracture announces the chicken's death,

I don't believe a determined destiny can be captured,

we believe that champions are amongst us.
