JEREMIAD: "THOUGHTS OF A DEAD SOUL" BY DOTTY

This day today, i mean that day then,
The days I wish could be swept down the drain,
The times that drained my sanity,
left me hanging on the thread of hope.

Allow me tell you a tale,
A tale of my stale days,
A story of my ragged days,
A saying of my torn self.

Then I was a human in the stale,
Swimming in the mud of tales,
Trying to keep up the armory sales,
Spending the cold nights on the bale.

Remember the morning whip,
Humans scampering for survival weeping,
Drenched in the sweat of the night sipping,
Clenching teeth trying to hide the pain.

Did I tell you of him,
The man with the gun on the tower,
Always ready to offer a kick in the shower,
And a belittling push into the drawer.

Am sorry I made you tear,
But life was cruel than in the sheer,
Don't see me a nuisance dear,
I'm trying to tell my tale of hurt peer.

The poet persona speaks on days of challenges not excluding sexual oppression from the opposite sex. The bard also tells readers to see the artistic work as being confessional and not noisy.
