JEREMIAD: "ALL THAT I SEARCHED" BY MAGEADONIS
I stood upon a pedestal with beautiful petals hanging on my ears
Giving me airs on the shoulder only to be cut short by a boulder bigger than my dreams
I levitated to the sky thinking I'd continue to float for eternity but then the wind came stronger than my aspirations till my perspiration leave me out of breath
I filled myself with fictional confidence I got from a divine providence,
I said what's in my chest but it couldn't bring me the best even if I induced the rest of my strength
Now I've spilled my words that I thought would be sword but it couldn't even make a knife that can slice through a thin air
I tried to erase the pieces so that I can fit in with the rest but the rest are abreast of my best
The difference between a chaff and wheat ever glaring like the eye of a night owl
Even my hard toils that soiled all my strength left no solid effect
Who can I blame for my misfortune
When that's all I've received all my life
Now I've tripped and there's no chance of getting back up
I've fallen and the energy to rise back up has been completely dissipated
I'm the monster I won't argue
I'm a failure I know it
I didn't go down without a fight
The war only proved too strong
