JEREMIAD: "CHANGE" BY MYLES

In your eyes I'm no white cloak, I'm always stained,
Never am I clean, dirt on me is all you see,
Sand storm I'm, always giving you sneezes,
You can't see me as a cheetah,  rather you eye me as a cheat.

Thomas you're, always doubtful,
Never positive in thoughts, worst thoughts you got,
Always ready to crucify me, Jesus I'm not,
En if I was, may everyone carry his own cross.

Change is inevitable, avoiding it we can't,
The wind is always disrespectful, yet it changes direction,
Despite the sun scorching, it eventually cools with time,
That's why we've the four seasons, to keep us going.

My efforts ain't appreciated, I'll appreciate me,
I won't keep on bettering me for anyone, I do it for me,
I don't give you reasons to be Thomas, you give you the reasons,
If you can't let go my past errors, then it's time I rest my case!

The poet persona seems to be angry at someone who does not appreciate all his efforts to keep the relationship steady. Therefore, the bard is ready to let this person out of his life.
