Tomatoes sunbathing sprawled on heaps of fours
rolled from the brutally kicked stall dived into pools of sewage crawling from the near Matapi police station.
It got embraced by a phlegm inflicted with cholera buoying in simmering foul concoction of water and diarrheal faeces married to menstrual blood.
The police wear a fierce
villain riotous face.
Frowning at everything.
He picked deserted secondhand socks
and dollar for two female underwear,
observed the chased vendor from a distance.
With fearful bravery.
The officer pigeonholed the spoils in his pocket
then left.
To another stall he arrived,
Picked unwashed couples of apples
Begin to serve himself.
