ODE: "IF THINGS DON'T GO WELL" BY CYRA

If things don't go well , 

And the earthly forces overcomes me,

Note, I tried very much to fight the battles, but life didn't give me a chance, 

Tell mum and dad 

I loved them so much 

For being their elder son 

I wished alot for them

Tell little sister and the brothers, 

I loved them too 

Tell my mum and my brother 

It wasn't my fault 

Tell them I loved them so much 

Tell them forever they will reign in my heart 

To you my dear wife 

To our uncompleted promises ,

Make sure you will fight for them 

To our unborn daughters and sons, 

Tell them I love them so much ,

Only world battles overcomed me 

Tell them I fought so hard 

But I couldn't complete my battles. 

Note that I love you very much 

Note that if the world 

Can't give me the last breath 

My vacation will be very easy 

But very painful, 

Let the world know I loved you so much  

But pressures and pain couldn't sustain my stay.

Lemme carry the love to everywhere I will go, 

For you only, my heart choice.

The poet persona seems to be making a pre-instruction to his woman. The voice begins to assume his failure to meet his visions in life and therefore tells his wife to believe he forever loves her and he also made efforts to make her proud. The bard tells his wife to tell his parents, his children and others who wonder why he did not meet his targets, that he worked so hard.
