"IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES" BY MYLISTIC

If the sun gets to set, set with my soul,
Be happy, because I'm joining the living dead,
When it rises, my soul shall ascend to the heaven's gate,
I may not be physically available, but spiritual available I'll be.

If tomorrow never comes, of which it won't,
Fill in the gaps, yes the gaps between my fingers with yours,
Pamper me like a baby, your first born I'm,
Kiss my forehead, because it shall be the last one.

I may not predict my tomorrow, neither is it a draw nor a win,
I can make my pleas, not my grievances,
Buy me no casket, my decomposition should be quick,
For I need to add nutrients to the soil, en not to kill it's fertility.

Buy me a cake, cream it with happy words,
Cheers to my name, en eulogize me with my deeds,
Play old school songs, at peace my soul shall rest,
Let my legacy live on, for I've aspired to inspire many.

The poet calls his vision "tomorrow". He tells his readers to still celebrate his efforts and legacies in life even if his tomorrow never comes.
