ODE: "SHE IS JUST A LITTLE GIRL" BY PROF. GEORGE

She is just a little angel
She live in reality
Your fairytale is her reality
She is sparkling
From her head to toe she is art of beauty.
Not only pretty but also innocent.

Her father told her she is a princess,
So is her courage,
It's God work
Never to be questioned,

She never had a sister nor a mother to tell her of her other days,
She learns In a hard way,
Daddy calls her big girl

Fear and shame tears covering her eyes,
She never knew it's normal to be different,
She hides in father's palace
She couldn't tell of bleeding rose
She hides in fear
She can't crack the codes of new Dawn,
She is a lonely princess.

PROF. GEORGE MEYA
- Kenya

The poet persona says the story of a girl who has only a father who protects her always but she becomes a woman via painful rape. She tells no one and becomes ready to be great.
