REPORT ON THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE OF STRIDA- BY AWESU JAMIU

I am glad to give you the report on the first virtual conference call of STRIDA

On the 14th of May 2023, Sunday's evening, STRIDA performed her first ever conference call which was hosted by Mother Ajakaye STRIDA herself. The meeting was attended by few members of the writing community. We have members like Dr. Saloni Chawla from India, Mr. Karim De poet from Ghana, Abu qaanit from Nigeria, Mr. Yaqwas Arojo from Nigeria, Mr. Adonis from Nigeria, Mr. Lasisi from Nigeria and few others.

Mother Ajakaye STRIDA opened the call with greetings and welcoming of the invitees while some were joining amidst. The faces were fascinating and we could see and embrace ourselves from the video. It was awesome I must say.

Dr. Saloni started her lecture on the topic: Master of Science and Arts: Man or Nature? This lecture took the ground of the call why others listened attentively to the heart soothing lecture by Dr. Saloni.

The host, mother STRIDA asked for comments and questions on lecture. Members of the virtual meeting responded and necessary clarifications were made by Dr. Saloni. 

After the lecture, Mother Ajakaye STRIDA requested the contributions of STRIDA from member; without excluding that they should state uncomfortable situations they want to be promoted out on STRIDA. A great number of attendees spoke. Mr. Abu Qaanit admitted Mother STRIDA has indeed taken imitable actions towards the development of STRIDA, with also being amazed that STRIDA has grown internationally. He didn't stop there, he complained about the low participation of members on any works, writings, and giving of comments sent to the platform. He added a statement, " only Mother STRIDA attends to messages on the platform while others might check and slide away. These are not helping the development of the group and we need to offer Mother STRIDA our respective cooperative hands."

Surprisingly, a three months old member of STRIDA, Mr. Lasisi Victor commended the restless work of Mother STRIDA for moving the club so far to where it is now. He placed beautiful praises on mother STRIDA who has been a mentor for his writing and the reason behind his consistency. He as well talked about the positive impact of the group and never said any negative part of it.

Expectantly, his comments were welcomed by mother STRIDA, she appreciated everyone with prayers.

While we were waiting for our next lecturer Mr. Karim from Ghana; Mr. Lasisi read an imaginary poem for the attendees which was solemnly listened to and was commented on. The reciter was happy and reciprocated the compliment.

Afterwards, we welcome back the second lecturer, Mr. Karim, who apologized for his late arrival. Then, he gave a detailed lecture on How to Write a Simple and Beautiful Poem.

After some funny discussions between the present members of the meeting, Mr. Arojo appreciated Mother STRIDA with adding the names of effective members of STRIDA. He congratulated the club for not giving up since 2018. He admitted his amazement at STRIDA growing towards international lengths even while members haven't met physically, except for few members meeting Mother STRIDA on personal agreements. He encouraged the club to make moves towards the collaborative project on Peace. After his words, Mother STRIDA appreciated him and recognized him as an outstanding supporter of STRIDA. She confidently told other members that, he has supported her emotionally, financially and various other ways. This were her word, "Uncle Yaqwas Arojo is special to me. He supports me emotionally, financially, professionally, you know... he is an eager confidant and humble man. Thank you so much Uncle Arojo".

As our minds were anticipating, mother STRIDA read a marvelous poem for the attendees which was overwhelmed with inspiring words. The poet lyrics was not missing from her voice. In short we enjoyed it. The title of her poem was "When I Get Rich".

 For the development of the writing platform, STRIDA. These opinions were marked positive

1. STRIDA will be meeting virtually within 3 months for the realistic recitation of all genres of writing, with regards to a given topic. 

2. it was concluded and we hope to have 2 more of these meeting before the end of this year.

3. It is incumbent on each member of STRIDA to pick up a relatively more active participation on the platform.

4. Members are to develop the spirit of collaborating with other members of platform just as Paciola, Mother STRIDA, Mr. Abu Qaanit, Mr. Piddo and others have been found doing.

5. The current efforts on the book publication, That Peace Might Exist, should not be taken as a personal project but a cooperative activity. Members and other lovers of STRIDA should take part in this timeless and creative dream.

Dr. Saloni Chawla from India explained that the publication of the book should be faced squarely and Mother STRIDA should increase her pace. She further admitted that she enjoyed the familiarity that members of STRIDA displayed amongst themselves. 

Mother Ajakaye STRIDA then showed deep appreciation to the whole attendees for their time especially Dr. Saloni who mentioned it was late in her country (11:27pm). With the assent of the attendees, mother STRIDA ended the call and adjourned it till another time.
