ODE: "DO YOU STILL REMEMBER AFRICA?" BY PRAISE PATRICK
Memories will always stay
As we remember the brutality we have to
go through....
How we had to travel alone in our world,
In our own motherland,
As l remember like it was yesterday ,
how we had to be used to work in our own fertile for their benefits...
Guns blazing in the sky ,
We thought it was going to end ,but the white man kept on,
Piles kept on piling no, not of goods no,
But of dead bodies,
Wow fighting for something which is not even yours....
Now we as Africans we have found our independence , our freedom,
But we're not united
We used to hold each other's arms through fit at bad times,
We now judge each other through languages , fame and standards..
For the last time my African people ,
Let's put an end to our differences,
Let's be one again
Our rich motherland representing our Africanasity
For the last time ,
Our final bow,
Let's say RIP to our differences .....
Viva Africa!!!!!!!
