The Most Gracious

The Most Merciful

Allahu Akbar!

Laa ilaha Ila Llah

Allahu Akbar

Allahu Akbar

WaliLah- il-hamd

As the tone keeps refraining

Rhythmically with poetic devices

Praising the only one God( _Allah )_ 

For the cleanse of our sins without a pay

All Fasting souls are now new born kids on this day

Alhamdulillah for Eid ul Azha

This is the day to celebrate the supreme sacrifice

of the ancient prophet Abraham

This is the day to ponder and remember

The divine exchange of Ismail for a ram! 

This Quranic and biblical factual allusion

shall never diminish

Eid ul Azha marks the end of Hajj

The sacred pilgrimage to the Holy city of Mecca

Which one must visit once or more in their lifetime

On this day of Eid ul Azha

Let's all come together with love without a grudge

Let's sacrifice with what we have 

And feed the poor and needy

Let's exchange greetings with our neighbors next door

Do go to the Mosque in your best clothes

Make sure you are clean from your head to toes

Visit each other's homes and ingest in festive meals

On this day I'm forever grateful being a true Muslim

Who submitted my will to the only one God the creator ( _Allah_)
