BASTARD! MY ALTERCATION WITH A FEMALE PROFESSOR- BY SOCIAL SEER

She crossed my path at a conference and I  had to  prove that academic arena does not demand the peace of the graveyard . Intellectuals feast on sound, superior arguments. We had a tango because of her presentation.  Her research dwelt on children born out of wedlock but brazenly called them bustards. I was inconvenient and poised for WAR without BLOOD. When she was done with her presentation, I  praised her for the effort but calmly took objection to the word,BASTARD. In her presentation, any child born out of wedlock is a BASTARD. She was a bit infuriated. She asked derisively if I ever checked that word in any dictionary.  With a calm diffidence, I  replied that Micheal West and I  attended the same Primary  school but since I was his senior, I  don't bother myself with his definitions. 

I stepped into the waters before his. The entire room burst into laughter. More people got interested. A man sitting at a corner mischievously  asked how old I was. I parried his question so that there would be no detour from the argument.

Not done with me, the woman Professor asked me emphatically who a BASTARD is. I  smiled. No, I  chuckled.  My intent was not to defeather anyone but to prove that knowledge is not static and that it will be hibernated if we do not sufficiently interrogate ourselves beyond the books. Ears were attentive and eyes were popping out in my direction.  The eagerly waiting, expecting and anticipating to hear from me, the Social Seer. Who is a BASTARD.  Are you ready too? OK 👍  Take a cup of water and relax.

With a sonorous and self deodorise confidence,  I explained that a good court would NEVER convict a man for a crime he never commits. Calling a child, a BASTARD is a negative labeling  and  a social conviction of the child for a crime they never commit.  With growing diffidence once again, I explained that a BASTARD is, a man who engaged in a conjugal relationship and denied the action or resultant pregnancy cum birth of the child. He is a BASTARD!. Also, a BASTARD is a female who is not gang raped,who gleefully slept with men and cannot pin-point who the father of the pregnancy or child is.  She is a BASTARD!  The child that is born should not be saddled by negative labeling. Let no one call any child who does not have control over the circumstance of their birth, a BASTARD.  Please notify dictionaries  and Guinness Book of Records. Until a superior argument nullifies this, don't  fail to quote, according to  Dosunmu, S.A...when you write BASTARDs.
