JEREMIAD: "IF...BUT" BY RADICAL LIBERTINE

If minds were draped by see through petticoat of sculp,
Letting people see our thoughts
Intentions
Expectations
and above all our logical or illogically brewed ideas formulating
Who could endure to brook voyeurism made by passersby?
If the stomach
was at all likelihoods
Happen to be a see through sack,
Letting people,cynics
Critiques and sneerers to roam around peeping through,
Would it be tolerable
If one who ate nothing
With a deflated belly,
With or little digested food in their stomach to walk freely?

If our eyes were microscopic xrays
Scanning our thoughts
Ideas baked
Musing abouts
Wouldn't we all be logically naked?

If you could understand
If you could foretell
If you could breath the smell of this poetry.
In a cold day
Wouldn't you then be a modern tool
Making the happiest writer.

But we're what we're
Who we're
Through natural selection process.
But how are we?

RADICAL LIBERTINE
- Zimbabwe

The poet makes all sorts of unheard imaginations about human life and activities. Since we are not entitled to these wished imaginations, humans are naturally bound to experience betrayal.

  1. On the poem IFs ......but(s) I am tempted to say the pic isn't depicting what the poet intend to say,it's even blurring the message of the poet unclear
