32ND EDITION OF VOICE OF THE MIMBARR: HYPOCRISY: A CANCEROUS CELL IN HUMAN ANATOMY- BY DR. RAZAQ BOLAWAYE

Humanity survives on premium most of which bears on development which plays down on some factors part of which is hypocrisy. It is described in several contexts including having to do with untruthful, untrustworthy and absurd interference in matters of inter-personal relationship.
To a large extent, hypocrisy is realized with many variances and signs. The substantial signs of hypocrisy appear in the four main situations mentioned in the Hadith of the noble Messenger _(SAW)_ as follows: "Hypocrisy is factored on four main situations in the sight of human namely, becoming utterly liar, blatant promise flouter, shameless trust breaker and recalcitrant to peace brokerage." Another school of thought describes hypocrisy as an innate ailment capable of not only bringing the bearer to disrepute but also impacting negatively on the society.
In this wise, it is often advanced that hypocrisy inherits individual incurable disease, denigrates family and sets humanity on a way to peril and perdition. Whereas, Almighty Allah in honorable and He likes and commands cheerful giving. This is in contra-distinction to being miserly, unreputable, unwittingly and source personality ingrained in the hypocrite. In fact, hypocrite is seen wearing neat outfit whereas the innermost appears cancerworming, pompous and annihilating defect. This is what Hasan an Basri refers to as the inability of hypocrite to strike balance between affairs of secrets and that of open for his unnecessary interpolation between the two extremes.
"The Hypocrites- they seek to deceive Allah who deceived them. When they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen of men, but little do they hold Allah in remembrance. (Q4:142). (They are) wavering between this and that belonging neither to these nor those whom Allah leaves straying, never will you find for him the way (Q4:143). The Hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the fire: no helper will you find for them (Q4:145).
It is clear from the above portions of the Qur'an that neither does Allah is pleased with a hypocrite nor does humanity on whom the effects of hypocrisy is based. Human beings should prioritize good behavior part of which is truthfulness, trustworthiness and steadfastness as against way-word and inconsistent disposition which result mainly in hypocrisy. This is the main import of Q16:90 often explained as bilateral tripartite canon of universal harmony. They justice, goodness and giving to the kin and relatives (enjoined) as against shunning indecency, evil and rebellion. May Allah show us the best way to fare and make easy for the way to abide with it. May He open our eyes on evils and make easy the wherewithal to abdicate it after all.
