HOW TO GO: SAY WHAT YOU KNOW - BY GREG ELKAN

_He said to them, “Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all people.”_ – Mk 16:15 (GNB).

Why do Believers find it hard to witness the Gospel? Jesus’ command to us in Mark 16:15 is clear: _“Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”_ Nevertheless, most Believers still don’t witness.

There are Christians who see salvation as simply a ticket to get to Heaven and could care less about anyone else going to Hell. But not every Believer who doesn’t evangelise are in this category. Many sincerely care about preaching the Gospel, but still find it difficult to do so nonetheless.

If you are in this category, take heart, you are not alone. There are, however, some practical steps you can take to break the block. And the first of it is to simply SAY WHAT YOU KNOW.

Some people think they have to have full, comprehensive grasp of systematic theology, the Old and New Testaments, ancient Near Eastern history, Hebrew and Greek etymology, historic and contemporary doctrines, etc. in order to be _qualified_ to preach the Gospel.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Being a witness is exactly that: _being a witness._ When police detectives question witnesses to a crime, they do not expect them to have intimate and detailed knowledge of the suspect. They just want to know what you know.

If all you know is that _God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins; and that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life,_ (Joh 3:16-18). Then that’s more than enough information.

Go out and say it, and let the holy Spirit take it from there.

Amen...
More Blessings await you today; you’ll not miss them in Jesus’ Name.
