HOPE POEM: "WHERE THE GRASS IS GREENER"(PART 1)
I looked through my window
Beyond the roof of the widow
Into a distant meadow
And saw the lush green pasture
So appealing, I'll be there for sure
Visa denied, I had to detour
Nothing would stop the aroma of the distant shore
Some stuff I stole from store
And played a little whore
That I might fulfill desire core
To pick dollars on the floor
Food and cinemas without a bore
Tell father, family and friends I've gone on tour
Never to return to a state sour.

The poet persona spreads the luxurious life he desires as he looks out his window, gazing at the rich grass. He does not wish to visit his home-state after he reaches these wishes.
