ODE: "TIME" BY CLEMENT

Time's a persistent stubborn illusion,
A dimension in which passage of events are measured
A device rate of change is measured with.

Time's an eternity,
Where yesterday, today and morrow,
Are all envisioned in all eternal now-moment.

Yesterday's a child's born,
Today he's grown,
Bearded and greyed,
With a patched bald head.
It is rumoured that he's now 90!
Aged, grizzled and old. Time's really flying!

Rainy season,
A planting season,
A time seeds are sown
With hopes that they'll germinate and bloom to harvesting season.
Ain't it all captured in time's passage,
Measuring the riping and maturity?

Relativistic but sure reality,
For eras have passed,
Epochs are counted,
But eons a large volume of time,
Yet sun is 10000 light years away!
What  then is Time?
