LASU REACTS TO SEXUAL AND GENDER BASED VIOLENCE
Lagos State University Centre for Response and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (CRPSGBV) in conjunction with UN Women and Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) are set to hold a One-Day Gender and Safe Spaces Summit to commemorate the International Day of Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls & 16 days Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
Theme: UNiTE! Invest to prevent Violence against Women and Girls.
Chief Host: Prof Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello (mni, NPOM), Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University.
Keynote Speaker: Ms Beatrice Eyong, UN Women Representative to Nigeria and ECOWAS.
Host: Dr Igot Ofem, Ag. Director, Centre for Response and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (CRPSGBV), Lagos State University.
