ROMANCE: "THE BRIDE" BY KABEDOOPONG
Your unadorned beauty brings forth the dawn,
Golden as the sun, shines your wedding morn;
Unyielding like a sunflower in bloom,
Radiates warmth, dispels impending gloom.
Your face, a canvas, for the heavens to design,
A beauty unmarred, truly divine;
In your eyes, glimmers an immortal tale,
Alive with love that will forever prevail.
Your words, an opus of wisdom and grace,
A sweet serenade that brightens a stolid face;
Born of virtue and honour pristine,
A heart of gold, for all layers unseen.
Deeds not of grandeur, but of love pure,
In the hearts of your children, you're demure;
A moon among the stars, you innocently gleam,
For love is the fount of your cosmic beam.
