Nollywood's own Binta Ayo Mogaji is breaking societal norms with her bold advice: "women over 35 should consider having children outside wedlock" she said.

In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, the 60-year-old actress shared her view.

Mogaji, who became a mother at 40, urged unmarried women to explore alternative paths to motherhood.

"If you're 35+ and single, but have a partner willing to have a child, don't wait for marriage," she advised.

"Even if he won't accept responsibility, have the child."

The actress further emphasized that even if marriage occurs at this age, women will already be older when their children grow up.
