HOPE POEM: "PUT PASSION" BY AJAKAYE STRIDA
Put a mirror before yourself,
look into your eyes,
I mean the black pupil.
What do you see, Conscious Readers?
What do you see?
What do you see?
Can't you respond?
I see the pride of the globe,
I see an energy that can cope
with life stumbles through a brilliant scope.
I see you as a mightily reasonable medicine
that knows the right bin
for each adverse scene.
I see a diamond heart among loamy particles,
raising itself highly to the faithful sky,
for unmatched and transferable progress.
I see in you a fulfilled smile
after the roaring challenges of the world.
Do you also see same as my eyes?
