"THE FOULER'S RIDDLE" BY KING FROST
Here I will tell you a riddle so dark,
beware of it's mystery so Stark,
with a wrong answer from your lip,
shall bring you doom from every Crip.
what's a light that casts no shadow,
the funk that makes senses wallow,
what is the thing that gives you nightmare,
and makes you awake in sleep through every fear?.
Tell me, what screams but went unheard,
what can break a king's heart yet not hard,
the moment between life and death, what is it called?
what is that creature, never walked, never flew, never crawled?.
Here is my riddle, I the fouler, a ghoul!.
whose wisdom lies in the mind of a fool,
the unknown knowing what is unknown to the known,
a lost in my riddle is a lost of the very soul that you own.
