If I open the windows of my heart,

To the bustling winds of love, will you peep through?

And find what's inside, the depths of my soul,

Where emotions swirl, and love makes me whole.

If I open my arms in a warm, loving space,

Will you embrace me, or fold your hands in a distant place?

If I call out your name, with a voice full of hope,

Will you answer back, or ignore, leaving me to cope?

If I love you with all my heart, with every fiber and breath,

Will you love me back, or pretend ignorance, leaving me in death?

If, and only if, I am out of words, and my heart beats for you alone,

Will you hear my silence, and respond with a love that's your own?
